About the Event
Enter the Shark Tank and pitch your million-dollar idea! Inspired by the iconic TV show, this event challenges teams of 4 to present their innovative business concepts to a panel of "sharks" (judges). With 2.5 hours to prepare and deliver your pitch, you'll need creativity, business acumen, and persuasive communication to convince the sharks that your idea is worth investing in. Can you secure a deal and swim away victorious?

Format: Live pitch presentation to shark panel
Round 1: Pitch Preparation & Presentation
Teams arrive with their business ideas and are given time to prepare their pitch presentations. Then, it's showtime! Each team presents their concept to the sharks, facing scrutiny, tough questions, and the ultimate verdict on their entrepreneurial vision.
Pitch Components:
- Business Idea: What problem does your product/service solve?
- Target Market: Who are your customers? How big is the market?
- Unique Selling Proposition (USP): What makes your idea different from competitors?
- Business Model: How will you make money? (Revenue streams, pricing strategy)
- Marketing Strategy: How will you reach and acquire customers?
- Financial Projections: Expected costs, revenue, and profitability timeline
- The Ask: What are you seeking from the sharks? (e.g., "Seeking ₹10 lakhs for 10% equity")
Presentation Format:
- 5-7 minutes for initial pitch
- Visual presentation (PPT, slides, or props) encouraged
- Prototypes or demos (if applicable) add impact
- All team members should participate in the presentation
- Q&A session with sharks (expect tough questions!)
- Sharks evaluate feasibility, innovation, and business viability
What Sharks Look For:
- Innovation and creativity of the idea

- Clear understanding of the target audience
- Realistic financial projections and business model
- Passion and confidence of the team
- Ability to handle questions and defend the concept
Idea Categories
Your business idea can fall into any of these categories (or create your own!):

- Consumer Products: Physical products, gadgets, lifestyle items

Rules & Guidelines
- Teams must consist of exactly 4 members
- Total event duration: 2.5 hours (prep + all team pitches)
- Event is offline—pitches delivered in-person to sharks
- Ideas must be original—no pitching existing established businesses
- Pitch duration: 5-7 minutes (strictly enforced)
- Visual aids (PPT, slides, videos) are encouraged but not mandatory
- Prototypes or demos can enhance your pitch significantly
- All team members must participate in the presentation
- Be prepared to answer detailed questions from the sharks
- Sharks' decisions and evaluations are final
- Maintain professional demeanor and sportsmanship
